Coronavirus Protocol

COVID-19 Protocols

Few events in recent American history have impacted businesses across the country in the way the Coronavirus has. For months, thousands of businesses remained shuttered. And now, as the country slowly begins to reopen, those same companies have been forced to radically change their day-to-day operations.

At Nodus Office Movers, we understand the sacrifices business owners and their employees are being forced to make right now. We also know promoting the health and wellness of employees, their families and the community as a whole remains the number one priority for business managers across the country. It’s our’s as well.

With the goal in mind of protecting the health of your workforce as well as our own, we’ve taken the time to re-examine our practices. Here are some of the following steps we’re taking to prevent the spread of the virus while still ensuring an efficient and cost-effective office move for your company.

We’ve conducted comprehensive training on how the virus spreads with our employees, including the amount of time the virus remains on different surface types as well as best practices for social distancing.

  • All of our team members use masks and gloves both in our facilities and your own.
  • Each team member is required to wash their hands regularly throughout the day.
  • Before each on-site workday begins our team members are required to undergo a temperature check

In addition to the safety measures our office moving team is taking, we’re also here to help prepare your facilities for the return of your team members. Right now, we’re offering the following services to all of our clients along with our usual office moving and storage solutions:

  • Office Reconfiguration: Our office reconfiguration team closely monitors local social distancing ordinances and is able to rearrange your office with the goal of creating six feet of space between employees in mind.
  • Office Disinfecting: Using the latest in professional cleaning technology, our team will deep clean every surface in your office before your employees come back to work.

We also understand this is a fluid situation. A lot of the guidance issued by the federal government in March has since changed, which can lead to a great deal of confusion for many business management teams. It’s for this reason we’re regularly referencing updates from the Centers for Disease Control on best practices for businesses hoping to reopen.

Our thoughts are with you and those affected by the virus during these challenging times. Stay safe, and know, too, we’ll all get through this together.
